Beautiful End: A Shared Performance

‘Beautiful End’ is a project based on the 1918 novel of the same name by Westmorland writer Constance Holme. The book focuses on the life of an elderly tenant farmer and the care he receives from his relatives. As part of the project, theatre-maker Carran Waterfield will join violinist Carolyn Francis and bassoonist Luke Crookes for performances and discussion, as they explore the themes raised by the novel within their own unique art forms.
