Film & TV Locations

Glorious landscape looks fabulous through the lens and the camera definitely loves it, which is why so many film and TV production companies arrive with crew and kit throughout the year. The area has limitless options when it comes to outdoor or lakeshore locations and is not only the choice of many TV production companies, but also that of companies making corporate videos.

An exciting new book, An A-Z of Cumbria Films, is also now available which is the first ever guide to the history of films in Cumbria and the Lake District.

If you are interested in filming yourself, you are always welcome. To find your ideal location, please get in touch with the Locations and Production Services Department at Creative England.
