9.30am - Visit Cumbria Crystal and Heron Glass at the Lakes Glass Centre. This is a unique opportunity to see the manufacture of full lead crystal and coloured art glass using only traditional manufacturing techniques. Large factory shop and Lakes Glass Centre Cafe.

10.15am - Depart Lakes Glass Centre.
10.25am - Arrive in Ulverston Town Centre. This friendly historic market town has its own unique charm. There is a colourful street market on Thursdays and Saturdays and an indoor market 5 days a week (closed Wednesday and Sunday).
11.30am - Depart Ulverston Town Centre.
11.45am - Arrive at Colony Country Store, the UK's leading candle manufacturer. From the viewing gallery you can see candle makers using the traditional skills of hand pouring and dipping candles. Have lunch in the traditional country cafe serving wholesome homemade food. After lunch shop in the country store which offers many bargains on candles and accessory ranges.

1.00pm - Depart Colony Country Store.
1.30pm - Arrive in Coniston.
2.00pm - Sail on the Steam Yacht Gondola from Coniston Pier to Brantwood. Enjoy Coniston's scenery from the opulently upholstered heated saloons of the Gondola, originally launched in 1859.

2.35pm - Arrive at Brantwood. Said to be the most beautifully situated house in the Lake District, this former home of John Ruskin displays his drawings, watercolours and personal memorabilia. Also temporary exhibitions, fern garden, bookshop, Jumping Jenny's restaurant and craft gallery.

4.10pm - Leave Brantwood aboard Coniston Launch. Relax and enjoy a short cruise on Coniston Water. Special interest cruises and joint tickets for Coniston Launch and Brantwood available.
