An annual traditional event, held on the first Saturday of July. This wonderful tradition dates back to the 1700's when rushes covering the church floors were taken up and replaced. These days it is a very colourful procession, headed up by the Harp of David, with children and adults following behind carrying Rushbearings decorated with rushes and flowers. The procession takes a historic route through the village, ending in a short service at St Mary's Church.
