Garden Shed

Saturday 28th of July 2018: 10am - 3pm

A special space situated in the lap of nature - perhaps along a barely visible path amid an array of wild flowers and rambling brambles. Aimed at both beginners and experienced embroiderers. This workshop provides you with the six basic stitches used within the Quaker Tapestry: Stem, Split, Chain, Quaker, Bayeux Point and Peking Knot. In a relaxed and friendly environment our tutors will guide you through the stitches and help you work towards an embroidered picture to finish at home.

Location: Quaker Tapestry Museum, Stramongate, Kendal, Kendal, LA9 4BH
